One important personal story or history that I have is that I was involved in marching band in high school and I did not know it at the time, but it would shape who I am today and it would influence my decisions through high school and even today through college. It was some of the best, worst, toughest, greatest, most inspiring moments and events in my life all wrapped up into four years of my life that continue to inspire me and influence me. I often associate this history that I have with how I act and behave today and with how others may act and behave. Marching band in high school teaches you many life lessons that have helped me in reaching who I am now. I also know that many other people and friends of mine would say the same thing about marching band specifically. It was the experiences both in and out of band that held an influence on me and finding these snapshots and artifacts made me reflect on my journey through high school and how these experiences still impact me.
